I took Plan B about eight months back and it worked.. And I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be available in Mesa. Just go up to the counter and ask if you can get the Plan B pill. Remember, too, that the sooner you take it, the more effective it will be.. if you can get into a 24-hr pharmacy tonight, make sure you go. Good luck!

I guess it works most of the time. But how do you know if the pill worked or if you weren't going to get pregnant from that encounter anyway? I have used it about a dozen times. I have 2 sons from using it. Good luck.

Yes, plan B does reduce your chances of getting pregnant. The sooner you take it, the better and more effective it is. Try the pharmacy (the larger ones) and if you need a prescription feel free to email me. But its available over the counter, if you are an adult. I commend you for being so responsible. I know how frightening having had unprotected sex can be,

You can buy plan b at rite aid. You have to show id proving you are 18 or older. It works within 72 hours of having unprotected sex.

yes it works!! really well, I recommend it... You CAN go to a pharmacy, but I went to planned parenthood and got it for free!! So thats pretty cool. Plus they have it for sure in pharmacies you might have to go to several places before find one. Just whatever you do, do it fast

Taking Plan B within 72 hours of unprotected sex is up to 90% effective in preventing pregnancy. But do not wait to get it, go to pharmacy or family planning clinic as soon as possible. You can buy it without a prescription if you are 18 or over at the pharmacy counter. Here is a website you can use to search for clinics or providers if you need to get a prescription for it. http://ec.princeton.edu/providers/index.html#zipcode Plan B should not be used in place of regular birth control which is much more effective (99%) in preventing pregnancy so you should talk to your doctor about going back on birth control if you think you will be needing it.
