About Best chinese restaurants in or near Mesa, AZ

Best chinese restaurants in or near Mesa, AZ?
Just recently moved near the community college in Mesa. Work in Chandler. Where are some good chinese restaurants. Have tried Pong Pong, but it wasn't too good. Works in a pinch.

The best one around Mesa will be Phoenix Palace on Dobson and Ray. Make sure you don't go to the buffet one on Warner and Dobson. Phoenix Palace on Dobson and Ray serves authetic Chinese food and dim sum as well. It is one of the 3 best dim sum restaurants in Phoenix area I have tried so far. They servce authentic Cantonese cuisine. I highly suggest you go there for dim sum for lunch and have dinner over there. Their lunch menu is the typical americanized Chinese food so the quality is only average as expected; but dinner menu is awesome especially if you can read the Chinese menu. Furthermore, they have Karaoke available on Friday and Saturday night after 9:30 pm.

Also try Golden Canyon on the North/East corner of Dobson and Southern. Their egg foo yung is not the greatest but most of their other dishes are very good.

How much driving do you like? It's about 6 miles each way according to Yahoo Maps, which could mean a 2-hour commute in metro LA traffic.

Oh yeah it's about 10 to 20 mins away no problem driving there at all :)
3 :
Really easy...not far at all...maybe 2 cities over.

You won't even have to get on the freeway!! Not only is it possible - it's a dream. These two cities are neighbors and even if you're at the far end of Irvine, you'll still be way ahead of the game. If you're on the fence about taking the job, you should definitely take it and call yourself lucky :D

Yes. I know plenty of people who live in Irvine and work in Costa Mesa. Both cities are approx. 15-20 min. away from each other by car.
